To have, or not to have. That is the question on actress Apple Hong's mind when it comes to having children.
"I;m in such a dilemma," said the actress-singer.
"I've never wanted children of my own, not because I dont't like kids, but because I am after of all the potential problems that may come with having a kid."
She explained she gets slightly annoyed when she hears children bawling their lings out at restaurants and public place.
"I really pity their parents when I see suvh children."
But working with the child actors on her new series The Greatest Love Of All, she said, has altered her impression of children. "I realised that kids can be very mature and sensible too," said Apple.
She explained, however, that she will wait ""untill she can find the right man to come along" before deciding.
"I feel as if I'm still too young to decide if I want to have children. I haven't had enought fun," said Apple.
Though she is still undecided on the topic, kids of all ages definitely seem to like the affable "Apple Jie Jie" (Mandarin for Big Sister Apple).
Apple, who plays a single mother with an autistic child, said she enjoyed working with the children in the series.
"They were always teasing and playing with me. One of the boys, who plays the role of a handicapped boy, actually knocked me from behind with his wheelchair."

故事大纲：
洛文欣〔白薇秀饰〕小时候有严重的阅读障碍，因此不被主流教育的学校所接受。但是父母的爱，让文欣克服一切障碍，并完成了大学教育。文欣为了让不幸的孩童也能像自己一样健康成长，毕业后毅然当上了社工。

轻微低智商的李开心（符芳榕饰）被安排在特别学校上课，父母李英雄（黄奕良饰）和莫莉花（陈丽贞饰）都是低下层人士，他们不懂得如何照顾这样的一个孩子，经济上的困难也造成一定的压力。文欣经常为了开心没有去特别学校上课与他们吵起来。

新任辅导官赵家轩（张耀栋饰）对文欣这个麻辣社工的作风不是很认同，却欣赏她坚韧、不舍不弃的工作态度。家轩的父亲赵志鹏（陈澍城饰）是名牌服装厂商，长子赵家明（陈汉玮饰）是得力助手，向来对父亲唯命是从。

志鹏早年丧偶，在国外认识了小明星张颖（宋怡霏饰），生下一个先天聋哑兼唇颚裂的儿子家喜（陈星余饰）。志鹏为了面子问题，他要张颖不得让家喜曝光，导致张颖过度保护儿子，造成家喜无法与人沟通、无法独立。

唐彩凝（黄慧饰）是志鹏一个世交的女儿，志鹏把她当着是家明的女朋友，但彩凝一直把家明当大哥哥看待，反而钟情于家轩。

彩凝的模特儿公司有个条件优越的模特儿杨倩茹（洪乙心饰）。倩茹当年在国外念书，与一个留学生交往，正当谈婚论嫁，未婚夫却意外身亡。倩茹生下女儿欢欢（曾琪雁饰），却发现她得了自闭症。求好心切的倩茹对女儿爱之深责之切，常常失控痛打女儿。母亲刘凤仪〔林丽云饰〕劝倩茹接受欢欢自闭的事实，但倩茹始终不愿意去面对。后来在文欣锲而不舍的劝导下，倩茹终于将欢欢送到特别学校。

倩茹在一次表演时认识了家明，彼此留下了好感。凤仪为了女儿的将来，建议认孙为女，要倩茹去追求属于自己的幸福。倩茹为自己夹在亲情和感情之间感到万般矛盾和痛苦。

接触日久，文欣与家轩对彼此产生好感，但文欣发现家轩身边围绕着富家女彩凝，彩凝甚至为了家轩当上义工。文欣想到自己的病例，始终没有勇气闯情关。

特别学校PSLE会考班有一个残障男孩永乐（李正豪饰）。父亲洪建平（张汶祥饰）是高级行政人员，当他发现儿子先天是个残障儿，对他十分冷漠。多年来都是母亲陈杏琳（陈慧慧饰）不舍不弃地在照顾永乐，永乐也很坚毅的求上进。

后来杏琳意外怀孕，健平要妻子拿掉孩子，但杏琳不肯答应。杏琳在强大的压力下，患上了产前忧郁症。照顾永乐的担子，一下子落在健平的身上。父子在接触的过程中，健平渐渐解除了对儿子的冷漠。

在家轩和文欣的劝说下，张颖终于改变初衷，将家喜送去特别学校。倩茹打算向家明透露欢欢的真正身份。不料这时候志鹏知道家喜到特别学校读书的事而大发雷霆，倩茹也因此说不出口来。

彩凝发现家轩喜欢的人是文欣，又从倩茹口中得知文欣的过去。为了得到家轩，她竟然将文欣的事情说了出来，结果引发一场大风波。

文欣在面对感情困扰之际，英雄因为吸毒被捕，一家顿时陷入了困境，莉花坚持要让开心去唱七月歌台，文欣大力反对无效…

欢欢觉察到母亲对自己的疏离，在离开学校后下落不明，倩茹第一次感觉失去女儿的可怕。倩茹找到欢欢，听到欢欢开口叫一声“妈”，倩茹感动，她终于有所决定，为了孩子不惜放弃一切…

永乐开始对自己的存在感到迷惘，认为是不是自己不存在，父母的问题就会迎刃而解？他最终是否能考上正常中学，证明自己不是没有希望的孩子…

文欣面对一连串打击，目睹孩子们的痛苦，让她感觉心力交瘁，她几乎想要放弃。这时候，悄然出现在她身边的是家轩和一群她曾经帮助过的孩子…

Apple's Magical Journey

Apple was nominated for the new comers award with her pretty looks; she was often saying to be Su Qi and Song Hui Qiao look-alike. Because of this, she achieves many chances to act in different variety show. In year 2001, she was given a chance to join either TCS or Channel U and she decided to lay her faith in Channel U. A little-known fact is that Apple was already a host for a Chinese infotainment programme while pursuing her degree in Malaysia Institute of Arts (majoring in TV production). Adding to her hosting experiences are programmes like (都市男女) and (食不可挡) with famous TV chef Chen Hong in Taiwan. Of the various dramas, Apple has also been involved in many regional co-productions acting alongside international artistes like Ouyang Zhen Hua (欧阳震华), Nick Cheung (张家辉), Anita Yuen (袁咏仪), Qin Han (秦汉), Mi Xue (米雪) and Ng Meng Tat (吴孟达). Apple strikes one as a very affable girl and is a recognized face everywhere she goes. This versatile actress hopes to be able to take on movie roles in the future and we wait with bated breath for her silver screen debut.

Apple was also nominated for Best New Comer in MediaCorp Singapore during her first year in the industry and Voted as Singapore TOP20 Sexiest Girl by FHM Magazine for three consecutive years. She also appeared in the big-screen as a leading cast in Jack Neo’s movie – One More Chance (2005).
